Attention: Four wheel and ATV vehicles are not allowed in Unit 6, which begins at the intersection of Mauna Loa and Briar Forest Drive.

This type of vehicle can damage property; therefore, please do not operate a four wheel or ATV vehicle in Unit 6. Operating a four wheel or ATV vehicle in Unit 6 is a violation of Pine Forest Covenant, Conditions and Restrictions (CCRs) noted below, in part:

• Article 2.5 Hazardous Activities. No activities may be conducted on or within the Property....that might be unsafe or hazardous to any person or Property.

• Article 2.7 Noise. No noise or other nuisance shall be permitted to exist or operate upon any portion of the Property so as to be offensive or detrimental to any other portion of the Property or to its Residents.​

Neighbor,

We are trying to solve two problems in Unit 6 that have only been getting worse and worse this year and we need your help. 

• The first is the invasion of the dirt bikes and off-roaders, especially during weekends. They are destroying the lots, and as you are aware, make a terrible noise. We have contacted the City of Bastrop Police Department, and they have increased their patrols. In addition, the Pine Forest POA has ordered permanent signs to replace the temporary "NO TRESPASSING" signs at the main entrances.

The signs are not going to be a cure-all, however. We must be vigilant in calling the Bastrop Police at 512-332-8600 (or 9-1-1) when we hear them. In turn, the Police Chief has promised to respond.

• The second issue is the dumping of trash. Please call the Police if you see anyone dumping trash. We have also received reports of camping, all-night parties with campfires – and gunfire.

Please report all suspicious activity. The phone call is your only involvement. Your personal information will not be shared. Please help us to reclaim our neighborhood!
